STEEL NATION is on the hunt for a new singer.
They have a split 7" coming out soon and are already laying down the skeletons for an eleven song full length.

-Must have the vocals of a rabid animal.
-Must be experience in the ways of mid 90’s hardcore.
-Must be responsible and able to travel to practice in the Pennsylvania area.
-Must be able to tour.

Braindead and Double or Nothing Records have decided to part ways. The band will be self-releasing their newly recorded full length CD "No Consequences" this summer and we wish them nothing but the best of luck in the future.

Mike C has decided to leave COA. he has some stuff going on in his life that needs his full concentration. being in a band with 3 other crazy motherfuckers for close to 5 years, dropping out of school to do a band, and getting stabbed can get to anyone. we wish him luck and will see him in the pit.

so we are looking for a full time replacement. someone who can practice once a week in Taunton MA, and help us write new songs, have guitar gear, and be able to take some time to devote to being in a band with us.

DOUBLE OR NOTHING WEBSTORE UPDATE:

For those of you that dont know, the people that own an operate Double or Nothing Records also play in the band Know the Score. KTS went out on tour for the entire month of august with a system in place to make sure orders that came in went out as soon as possible despite us living in a van. Once we got home, we went thru everything to figure out what orders made it out and what orders didnt. It took us a little while to get everything situated, but as of October 5th, every order that could go out, has gone out.

If you ordered something that is out of stock, you have been emailed with a restock date. If you ordered something and havent gotten a shipping confirmation from our webstore or an email saying something you ordered is currently out of stock, please email us right away at DOUBLEORNOTHINGRECORDS@GMAIL.com with your order number so we can hook you up.

COLIN OF ARABIA:
The new 4 studio song 7" from COA will hit stores everywhere on October 9th. The record is essentially out of press already thanks to COA's tour with Crime in Stereo in August. There will be 100 copies available in record stores & and we have about 30 left for our webstore. If you want it, now would be the time to pick it up. In other news, COA has a couple of shows in New England with MADBALL before flying over to London for NinjaFest w/ COLD WORLD, WISDOM IN CHAINS, and a bunch of other bands. COA will be releasing a couple split 7"s on other labels over the winter time before recording a full length CD that we will be releasing in the summer of 2008. Believe me, we cant wait either.

FIGHT LIKE HELL:
After another summer out on the road, FLH is back home in the "mountain paradise" that is Denver Colorado. Rumor has it the band is locked down in a bunker writing the best record since Machine Head's "Burn My Eyes". We believe them and you should too. The band has a few scattered local shows lined up (including a full Madball cover set for halloween) and are tentatively planning on getting back out on the road in early 2008.

We here at Double or Nothing are extremely excited to finally kickoff something we've be planning on doing since we started this label a few years back.

We've always wanted to do limited edition silk screened posters for our bands and it seems in recent months we've been getting asked to do them all the time. So, we decided now was the time to stop talking about it and start doing it.

The first print we are making available is for none other than our friends Set Your Goals. In honor of their current, mammoth 2 month long european tour with No Trigger, we decided to do a special silk screened poster along with a special jacket for the last 200 copies of the "Mutiny!" LP we had left before it goes out of print for a 2nd time.

The band contacted one of their favorite artists Richard Minino (who you might know from his work for Strike Anywhere, New Mexican Disaster Squad, & more) to create the cover as well as a poster that will be exclusively available in our webstore starting right now.

There you can see the 12.5" x 19" poster on the left and the special LP cover that the lucky people across europe will be able to get their little foreign hands on.

All poster are hand numbered and will ship in a protective tube. The price of the tube is included.
