DOUBLE OR NOTHING RECORDS SIGNS DEAD WEIGHT

Formed as a side project by members of Miami hardcore luminaries All Hell Breaks Loose in 2004, vocalist Alex and guitarist Chad, Dead Weight set out to with the simple objective of proving that music still takes precedence over an image or a gimmick. Drawing on influences ranging from Buried Alive to Converge and Crowbar, Dead Weight plays a punishing, raw blend of heavy hardcore in a way not often found in today's hardcore scene. After recording a tremendously popular demo and playing many high profile shows, Dead Weight has finally arrived with their debut full length CD "We've Seen Better Days".

Recorded at Southern Noise studios in Miami, Florida by Jonathan Nunez (Torche, Donnybrook, Kids Like Us), "We've Seen Better Days" will hit stores on June 6th, 2006 on Double or Nothing Records. Artwork for the release was handled by Deadhorse Inc (Evergreen Terrace, On Broken Wings, Bury Your Dead) and can be viewed on the new Double or Nothing website now.

The track "Parasite" has also been posted on the new Double or Nothing site as a small taste of thing to come. Click here to check it out. Expect more tracks to surface in the coming weeks and news of summer touring as well.

SELF TITLED DEBUT CD IN STORES EVERYWHERE JUNE 6th!

As if June 6th couldn't get any better, The debut full length cd from Bad Blood will be in stores everywhere! We are totally sold out of the clear color(100). The neon green color(200) is quickly disappearing. If you want one, get in now. We are almost at the point where we cant guarantee you will get the Green color if you order. ALMOST. Until we post otherwise, you will get the green if you order. The best way to guarantee it is to order the 2 record package deal. Once we take that offline, the greens are gone forever.

KTS JOINS THE DOUBLE OR NOTHING AFFILIATED FAMILY

South Florida's Know the Score have joined the Double or Nothing affiliated family. We will be releasing a split 7" with KT$ and another band to be announced later. You will love them though. We do. Know the Score also has some merch for sale in the Double or Nothing Webstore including their 2005 debut CD "All Guts, No Glory" and the now infamous "No Fat Chicks" T-shirt. KT$ will be spending the rest of the springtime writing and recording their debut full length cd for Eulogy Recordings. More news on that later on.

DOUBLE OR NOTHING RECORDS UPDATE

Its pretty crazy for us right now with the release of the DFJ cd and our fully functional website going online. The site was built buy our friends at AKT Enterprises and is just phenomenal. There are some cosmetic issues and special "bells and whistles" that have yet to be added, but we couldn't wait anymore. Everything works and looks great.

That being said, there is nothing holding us back now. Expect some new band signings and release information in the coming weeks. We have so much to tell you about what's in store for the future, but you're just going to have to wait.
